VOO is a value trap being pumped by bogus “fundamentals” aimed at widening the pockets of corporate executives. This “new paradigm” of 1.5% dividend yield and 15% ten year CAGR is clearly the effect of Quantitative Easing artificially moving the markets while being pumped up by share repurchases (the VAST MAJORITY of corporate profits) and passive investing’s iq drain. Now the recent trend of AI has circled the wagons in this totally broken economy by setting new highs in big tech names while not being backed by fundamentals. The intelligent investor should seek a 3.5% dividend yield and 4% capital appreciation.
