Can $NKLA become a meme stock? This company has all the elements of being picked by Reddit. Everything is going against them. Their founder got into trouble, all their vehicles got recalled, got dropped by $GM and $BP there seems to be no way out and everyone is shorting this stock like crazy.

I really cannot see where this is going next, if not the bottom. Unless the wallstreetbets ppl intervene.

The "obvious" bet rarely makes you lots of money. Swimming against the tide always ends in catastrophe or astronomical returns in my experience to date.

It's not a comfortable position to be in however I think the key to following through with such bets takes a certain kind of mindset- "To succeed as a contrarian you must recognize what the crowd believes, have concrete justification for why the majority is wrong, and have the patience and conviction to stick with what is, by definition, an unpopular bet" - Whitney Tilson

Recession proof stocks?

There is so much noise right now in markets however one sector continually amazes: space stocks. Despite everything that is going on the 1 year return is at +73% with the 5 year return almost at +20%. Few other industries can boast those numbers. Especially if you consider the amount of risk associated with investing in space exploration technology.
