I invested in private markets a lot last year because crises are when solutions are born. Many companies born or reinvented out of the pandemic will emerge much stronger. One of these companies is Voyager Digital - $VYGVF - which really felt to me like i was getting into a venture capital round of a company with all the pieces.

Growing market - Cryptocurrency and Digital Assets

Growing Audience - Millennial and Gen Z groups despise traditional finance. Where some communities in the US are “underbanked” across generations, these two generations rather not bank. They despise debt, largely thanks to ballooning cost of student loans and college tuition. Where traditional investors of 80s and 90/ might flock to CDs, bonds, or money markets for 5% interest or more, this generation is using DeFi protocols, collateralized lending, NFTs, and platforms like Voyager for their yield pick axes. It’s such an obvious investment, I wish i was more disciplined and could justify a larger bet.

Management Team - stellar management team. I cannot say enough about how much the CEO is focused on the company’s users. That’s the right way to be. Some communication from marketing has been confusing, but the executives are focused on the right things.

Fundamentals - mist of the float is held by insiders. Balance sheet looks great for this early stage company, particularly the return on invested capital. If a squeeze catches on here, I am holding the stock to $500.

Look, several crypto players will go public over the next four years. There’s a combined market for all of them well in the trillions.

Btw, I don’t care about most of these coins. I do care about the main three, and I refuse to shill any others. Interest rates look great.
