Teladoc Health, Inc.

TDoc had some earnings announcements and the stock shot up to abt ~$30 at one point, I had existing short holdings with ave price lesser than $30. My task this month is to mitigate the possible upside risk as the stock starts to report better earnings for the last 2 quarters if memory didn't fail.

So....  -
1. When price went to 29.x I started to short some units. (To pull my ave stock price higher)
2. Did sell puts around my ave price. (I want to option to exercised if it hit the price as this would close out my a portion of my short position. I had several sell short at different price level. (What I get is the options premium and small profit from the closing of TDOC short position)
3. When price of the stock runs higher than my average stock price I sell more units (small amount) to pull my ave price higher basically.
What I am trying to do is to manage my stock units (inventory) accordingly to how the price of TDOC is moving. Close up the gap to recent high. I may exit all TDOC short if price is good.

TDOC went down so much last year that whatever good news will push this stock higher at a rather fast pace so I am careful of that and would not short too heavily at any price point. This gives me room to gradually adjust my short ave price. But what good news on this ticker does not seemed to last as their distribution looks to be easily drown by amazon or other competitors.
