Roku, Inc. Class A Common Stock

One of the biggest compliments you can give someone is to let them know how they have impacted you.

On the internet this is hard to do because so many communities are anonymous. And there are very few standardized ways to prove you took a meaningful action in response to something you learned.

Sure, there are 'likes' and 'comments', but as the real world and the digital world get tied closer together, I want there to be more verifiable ways to communicate action— and to be able to tie that action back to those that helped you get there.

There have been so many times on Twitter that I wanted to do a response Tweet saying 'I bought ABC because you posted XYZ' and be able to link the two together.

Now on Commonstock I have half of the equation— trade alerts. In the future I hope to be able to link my trade to the memo that influenced my decision. But for now I can do that manually:

I concur with your sentiment around complimenting. There's only one currently existing app/online community that I know of that gives special focus towards user's complementing other user's based off their recommendations.. and it's not in the investing space.

With Commonstock being so new, open to feedback, and seemingly adaptable, I'd love to see your suggestions implemented. I think we all can agree, positive feedback can not only brighten someone's day but it can also tap into the intrinsic desire of helping others grow and prosper.

Speaking of hopeful new features - I'd love to be able to save a user's post for easy access so that I can dive back into at a later time. I'm currently copying links and pasting them into text or email addressed to myself.
