Hubspot
$HUBS has destroyed the market since its IPO in 2014, but with intense competition from the likes of Salesforce and other CRM giants, can it sustain this level of growth? It does have several things going for it:
- A quality platform that will be a breath of fresh air for Salesforce users
- Consistently high revenue growth and gross margins
- History of innovation in growing the platform without sacrificing cohesiveness
- Continuity within the team who built the software
There are, of course, a myriad of risks to consider. I cover that as well.
I also want to note that I've started scoring each of my holdings as I have found it to be a great way to set a benchmark against which I can reassess companies I own on a regular basis. Hubspot scored somewhere in the middle, but I am still excited about their growth prospects.
