Not trying to be rude, but maybe start by sharing what you think will happen with Tesla's earnings, that way people have something to respond to. Just saying "What do you think?" isn't the conversation starter you think it is.

100% agree with @tim_esteben. Just saying "what do you think?" without giving any other context or thoughts of your own is like asking someone else to do your work for you.

The main thing wrong with larger, public Telegram channels about stocks is that they are filled with the noise of well-intentioned people asking low-context questions. @jon_snow_pt these guys are doing you a favor with this advice.

Rule of thumb: If it takes twice as long for someone to answer your question as it took you to ask it, maybe rethink your question.

What I think is that it could go either way. But the reality is that in addition to Tesla's surpassing earnings estimates for the quarter, it coincides with the historical maximum value of BTC, an asset that the company holds and that even if it only counts after the sale, it is important for investors to know that the company holds a valuable asset like BTC. My expectation is that the stock will rally, but this is not the first time that the effect of the results announcement has had more effect than the results themselves.

Love this— thanks @jon_snow_pt, and sorry for the 'tough love.' Really appreciate this take on Tesla's earnings.

My take is that Tesla will get a bump from earnings, but when the BTC ETF comes out (not the futures) people will trade Tesla and Microstrategy less as a proxy for Bitcoin. Not that that will have much affect on $TSLA 's price, but just that it won't be necessary for larger funds to get their exposure to $BTC.X through $TSLA anymore.

Thanks for your thoughts!

@andybuchanan no problem! I agree, but I suppose investors always appreciate when company’s have reserves like $GOLD.X and now specially digita assets with huge potential like $BTC.X . The expectations that BTC is becoming a reserve of value is becoming a clear truth against all the ceptics.

@eric I need to catch up on these specific earnings but IMO $TSLA is in the healthiest it’s ever been. When I worked there we were always “weeks” away from going kaput.

Amazing how good they have got at scale manufacturing. Sure EVs and self driving tech is impressive but my god these auto margins keep going up.

Also Tesla saw an increase in deliveries by something like 70% while Ford and the rest saw a decline around -20%…

Buy every dip all the way up to $2000 on this one. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a split announce around $1000.

Truly a pleasure to watch this company thrive.
