Google is talking with entertainment cos about featuring their shows and movies in the hub of cable-like channels and is testing the concept with a few media partners. It could launch the offering more broadly later this year.

Hasn't Youtube already been doing the same thing for movies? It will be interesting to see how shift into the concept for TV shows. The competition for streaming space seems to be getting more brutal and there's a lot of overlap with offerings.
