And as well as it worked for some, many were burned on the backside of the trade. When the next one comes will these people opt out, or participate but take their gains early? This would create a less impactful cycle. In the case of HODL graphic you shared, it’s a shared and thoughtful worldview - whether or not you may agree with the trade - that has encouraged many to be steadfast with their position over the past year.
