New position. Wanted exposure to precious metals without the miners and I believe silver fits the bill the best. I plan to aggressively add to this position in the coming months with a target of 7% of my portfolio eventually.

What is the rational for holding assets like Silver? Is it simply to have less correlation with the rest of the stock market?
