Can anyone tell me why my China Mobile stock was automatically sold (I know about government issues) at a reduced share price? Nearly $17.00 difference.
In May the Senate passed a bill to delist foreign companies that do not adhere to the guidelines of the Public Accounting Oversight Board.
The New York Stock Exchange decided to delist three Chinese telecom companies because of the connection of those companies to the Chinese military, including China Mobile $CHL.
Not sure about why there was a $17 difference though. If you end up talking with your broker and find out, let us know.
