We all knew that the tax increases might be coming for top earners in a Biden cabinet but seeing a lot of selling action today on more public news that these are on the docket. Still needs to get through the Senate but clearly there are going to be some new tax laws especially on the top tax brackets.

How will this affect demand appetite in general for high risk assets like growth stocks and crypto if the possible gains are taxed at a much higher rate? Does it eliminate or close the risk/reward gap that many of these assets bring with them?

I'm still formulating my own opinion, but curious if there are thoughtful perspectives out there worth reflecting on backed by data or past experience.

I got burned on Canopy 3 years ago so stopped tracking the Cannabis industry. That being said, word on the street is that these are going higher and they've already gone up huge the last 90 days. Is anyone inside the Commonstock community versed on the Cannabis industry and see more room to run? What resources out there are people using to mix both a qualitative and quantitative approach to placing bets in the industry?

Perhaps others have a similar story and will see value in any comments listed here as well.

Got setup w mine this weekend. This doesn’t feel dangerous to PTON or something that will slow them down. Their churn on the non-hardware paid app could go down a little, but I doubt it will be too significant. Perhaps that’s why the stock has been on its way back up. Anyway, sharing in case anyone has been on fence w PTON for this reason.

Just signed up for this. If it’s as good as my gut says it will be, it reduces reasons to go to a pharmacy. Beware for CVS / Walgreens...
