The company has grown impressively with little marketing spend as it is the clear leader in LGBTQ dating, mainly for gay men.

There was a lot to like about this business model, however, management and governance left much to be desired

I listened to a podcast on dating apps and it was interesting to note the reason why $GRND users are shown 30+ profiles in grids, versus Tinder or Bumble with its swipe-left-swipe-right individual view. It is because of "urgency" and location-based decisioning that many $GRND users exhibit, compared to other users on other dating apps...all very true in the LGBTQ+ world, I have to say!
