The american Space Development Agency (SDA) just announced contracts for their satellite megaconstellation. The Transport Layer Tranche 1 consists of 126 satellites each equipped with 3-5 Optical inter-satellite-links. York Space Systems, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman each got one contract to deliver 42 satellites.

$MYNA has a contract with Northrop Grumman as the strategic supplier for Optical-Inter-Satellite-Links for governmental needs with a minimum value of 35m USD ( https://mynaric.com/news/mynaric-selected-by-northrop-grumman-as-strategic-supplier-for-laser-communication/ ). As Northrop Grumman now has been selected as one of the supplier this contract will be activated.

This contract will mark inflection point for Mynaric imo (current market cap of ~215m USD). Much more Inter-Satellite-Links will be needed for the full constellation and other private companies are also planning constellations (Starlink, Amazon etc). And all these need these Terminals.
