Confirmation bias being the tendency to view new information as confirmation to original forecast, ignoring contradicting information or interpreting it differently

Reading bear cases is a great way to do it. Debating a bear case is my favorite given the opportunity. That said, confirmation bias is a tough hurdle to jump. I think everyone struggles with it admittedly or not.
