Here's the latest update on the daily domestic box office sales numbers. So far, the movie has been in theaters for 15 days.

Here's how the first Avatar movie performed in theaters. In both movies, we saw a spike in box office sales on the 15th day of it being in theaters.

Many wonder how Avatar 2 will perform at the box office in Week 3. For now, we've been a ~18% drop in box office sales on a weekly basis.

Looking back at the first Avatar movie, we've seen a 33.9% drop in box office sales from Week 2 to Week 3 and a 29% drop in box office sales when comparing Week 1 and Week 3's box office sales.

It's likely that as the East Coast of North America and other parts of the world see weather conditions improve in January, many more people will go and see the movie. Already, we've seen the movie on track to becoming the highest-grossing Hollywood film in India.

With the film already on track to make $1.3 billion in box office sales through the end of the weekend, the film is getting close to breaking into the Top 10 highest-grossing films of all time.
