Why PinDuoDuo is a Bargain
$PDD is now a value investment. I will break down three categories of why I think it is one of the best companies on the market to buy an ownership stake in—the health of the Chinese economy, automated core value, recent expansion into agriculture.
Chinese economy highlights:
- Exports grew 60.6% YoY in the first two months of 2021. It’s a sign of what’s to come.
- Imports jumped 22.2%. The confluence of two-headed growth is telling of rapid economic growth, likely surpassing the GDP growth they observed last year.
- China’s economy is the only major one that grew 2.3%.
Automated Core Value
- the primary value in PDD appears to be a recommendation engine that performs incredibly well.
- the group buying feature costa the company nothing to activate as it user generated. It’s practically a social media company where buying is the primary action.
Agriculture highlights:
- had its first test this lunar new year
- everybody gets a plate, even if you cannot show up.
Even in the bear market, this is my hedge.
