I think one of the most fascinating things about a bear market is when all the smart people come out of the woodwork to do analysis on how most people were manic during the bull market.

“Everyone’s a genius in a bull market” rings true but the intelligent people really provide guidance and reality-based analysis during bear markets. I’ve started keeping tabs on those on Twitter and especially the Commonstock community.
