I just realized that one of the go-to brands I have been buying, Le Labo - as presents for others - is owned by $EL ! I like the company but there seems to be a disconnect between their valuations and topline growth trajectory...got to revisit this name
@consumeowntech Good one. There were some rumours last week regarding a potential activist campaign by Nelson Peltz but he seems to refute them. He is not conviced that it can be successful due to the particular dual-class share structure and the fact that the Lauder family control about 86% of the voting power (despite owning c. 38% of the total common shares).
