Way Out Wednesday
14 stock positions increased/added.

Additional investments into my Stash Portfolio (5)

$ATVI - $94.22 consensus price target. Continuing to add more for the $MSFT buyout arbitrage play.

$MMM - $158.88 consensus price target. DCA down from previous buys. Increasing a 'core' position.

$ETSY - $156.42 consensus price target. DCA down from previous buys. Not a 'core' position so will consider flipping for a profit when the market recovers.

$PINS - $31.45 consensus price target. DCA down from previous buys. Not a 'core' position so will flip for a profit when the market recovers.

$ZG - $53.69 consensus price target. DCA down from previous buys. Not a 'core' position so will flip for a profit when the market recovers.

Additional investments into my M1 Finance "Fat Cat Investing" portfolio (9)

The 'Fat Cat Investing' portfolio is down 0.56% today and 5.20% overall since inception - a part of my ongoing "Real Estate Rumble".

True, but you know, goals 😂
I could just as easily list each stocks 52 week high, but that figure too could be years away, given the current situation it’s all a crapshoot.

Or my profit/loss on that position but I’m not sure how helpful that would be.

Suggestions?

Upcoming Earnings Calendar (Feb 7th - 11th)
Hey guys!

A key week is ahead of us! Here's what I'm interested in:

  • $APPS - One of my largest holdings. I'd like an update on the progress of single-tap and the tests they were running with Meta $FB. I'm also interested in seeing how their device footprint is expanding after their latest deals.
  • $DIS - They've invested heavily on Marvel and Star Wars series for Disney+, so let's see if this translates to lower churn and higher growth.
  • $NET - Really interesting stock but the valuation seems too high. Let's see if there's a good opportunity to enter post-earnings.

Good luck!

iBuying MacroTalk
The sentiment around iBuyers has changed quite drastically from bullish to bearish in the past couple of months. While iBuying certainly has a lot of risks, it also has huge potential when executed right.

The latest Fincredible MacroTalk covers what company executives are saying regarding iBuying. It has quotes from $ZG $Z $RDFN $OPEN $LEN $OPAD $COMP $VGR

Here are the quotes I found most interesting regarding the benefits to sellers and the risks to iBuyers:

Getting more interested in iBuying. I like that sentiment is bad. I don't think everyone will be able to succeed here, but I also think there is room for at least one or two successful players in the space.

Upcoming Earnings Calendar! (Nov 1-5)
Hey guys! Here's next week's earnings calendar! Several very interesting companies set to report earnings. Here's the one's I'm most excited about and why:

  • $APPS: any sign of iOS ad dollars shifting to android (Digital Turbine's revenues are mostly from android).
  • $Z: an update on the real estate market and iBuying
  • $LYFT and $UBER: is mobility in the US back to pre-pandemic levels?
  • $COIN metrics on the NFT market.
  • $PENN and $DKNG update on the mobile sports betting market.
  • $ATVI number of Call of Duty Warzone players. The last reported number was 100MM.
  • $CRSR: comments on the supply chain issues they're experiencing.
  • $MELI: update on the Brazilian e-commerce market. Relevant for $SE's expansion.
Comment below which earnings report you are looking forward to the most!

$ZG is down 10% today because they are pausing home purchases.

Zillow is blaming this on the labour shortage causing their flipping activities to take a halt. The labour shortage is now affecting real estate, the domino effect is continuing to be seen here.

Wondering if I should sell my $ZG... Thoughts?

I bought RDFN couple weeks ago to go along with my ZG position. Uncertainty is growing for me as well. I’m not really interested in ZG flipping either. They can stop that forever and I’d be alright with it.
