Transaction journal entry for $STEM:
Only executing 2/3 of my normal initial position to have some skin in the game. Will add the remaining 1/3 if company continues improving gross and operating margins and FCF/Sales. Feels like this company is on the precipice of really taking off. Revenue growth up massive last two years while gross margins have gone from (19%) in 2019 to (11%) to 1% to 11% through first 6 months of 2022. Plenty of operating leverage ahead of them. Services revenue must accelerate. Also watching their bookings, backlog, 12-month pipeline, and contracted ARR.

Valuation metrics at time of purchase:
Trailing P/S: 13.0
Forward P/S: 3.9
PSG: 0.02
P/FCF: Negative
P/GP: 202
My top 10 growth stocks!
I've finally settle on 10 stocks that I want to hold for awhile and accumulate for the next years. Its been months and months of studying them and I feel that I love their missions statements and the direction moving forward at this time. (Common theme of about half of these that they have great cash flow and great revenue numbers that I find intriguing)

$RKLB I believe this is the Space Company of the future, not SpaceX. Enough said. (Currently my top position over half of my portfolio.)
$PLTR Data analytics (Use case would be consumer companies using it to integrate their data, decisions, and operations.) (The next Microsoft suite for all companies small/mid/big/large)
$MELI E-commerce play that will dominate South America
$ENPH Solar Play
$SEDG Solar Play
$TSLA AI/Robot play
$CRWD Cybersecurity
$DDOG Data (the next gold in my opinion)
$CRSP Gene Editing (I believe this stock has the biggest potential if the human trials are successful)
$STEM AI Energy Management Play

I plan to add $250 a week/or more on this portfolio. If anything changes, Ill update accordingly, but I believe in a few years out I will have at least half of these still on my portfolio.
Big big fan here of Rocketlab and have been adding to my position in the downturn fingers crossed in 10 years I’ll be looking at a graph saying I can’t believe I bought these shares for $5

Also like Stem and have also added to that position.

Definitely want to check out the two solar plays in your list because I do like some renewable tech

We are reiterating our full-year 2022 revenue and adjusted EBITDA guidance, and raising our full-year 2022 bookings and CARR guidance by 20% and 7% at the midpoint, respectively, driven by continued commercial momentum achieved by our team. Importantly, our guidance does not incorporate any potential upside from the proposed Inflation Reduction Act of 2022.
$STEM Stock Investment Thesis
I believe $STEM is undervalued at 1.8billion market cap. I plan to hold the stock 3 years +

Energy Regulations with the massive heat wave that keeps on occurring more and more.

Its crazy to think that regulations like this exist. This makes me more and more bullish on solar companies and companies that can make it so you can handle your own electricity and energy. If only there was a company that can handle and store this energy? $STEM

I have known this stock about awhile, remember watching this video as first time getting introduced to it. The whole country is suffering from extreme heat and are facing the consequences from that heat in the form of grid overload resulting in blackouts. Stem Inc has been the solution to this problem.

First pure play smart energy storage company to go public in the US.
A Massive addressable market growing 25x to $1.2 trillion by 2050.
The Largest smart storage network in the world with best-in-class technology.
Strong and highly visible growth through long-term software contracts.

Stem works with large enterprise customers and mid-sized commercial and industrial businesses to identify energy savings opportunities and enhance sustainability strategies. Stem’s solution is rooted in more than a decade of market leadership and the unparalleled capabilities of our Athena smart energy software.

An increase in energy demand during heat waves can create significant stress on the electrical grid. Stem’s Athena® intelligent software automatically operates energy storage systems to reduce customers’ energy costs and instantly responds to signals received from the grid operators to dispatch available capacity when and where it is urgently needed. This helps to stabilize the grid by flattening electricity usage peaks and delivering power to the most constrained parts of the grid. Athena® co-optimizes the value of flexible energy in real time, incorporating dynamic conditions such as energy prices, local grid capacity constraints, tariff-based program events and severe weather conditions. The Company’s technology provides fast-response and backup power while reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and reliance on diesel generators and fossil fuels.

334% 9/30/2021

Micro & Small Caps
Are micro & small caps making a lasting comeback? Since the June "bottom" (bottom so far) some have done phenomenally well. I don't know what's to come, but each of these companies has earned my doubling, tripling and quadrupling down:

*Not advice * I own a sizeable % of each in my own portfolio.
Been experiencing the same in my portfolio. $MVIS reports earnings today, excited to hear some updates!

Why & What I am Buying
While the world ends, it feels like a once in a decade opportunity to buy the next generation of companies. But when? I have no idea. So I've been steadily DCA'ing as best I can.

#1 is of course $PL. I am a huge believer in what Planet is building and doing. Their market is incredibly diverse, as they can observe the entire planet from above and in almost any condition. War, agriculture, counterintelligence, energy, fund managers, data gathers. Planet can help all of them.

My other top exciting companies:
$DM -- onshoring manufacturing and the rise of "American Dynamism" (coined by Katherine Boyle at a16z) is coming. $DM is a major player.
$STEM -- maximizing energy efficiency is going to be paramount in the years to come. The leader in energy storage at present.
$EVLV -- security screenings are incredibly outdated and frustrating. At the same time, we all want to feel safe when we go out in public. Evolv solves both problems simultaneously and Evolv Express makes it incredibly affordable.
$HLGN -- I believe Heliogen will become a leader in solar energy for industrial uses. Capable of producing the high temperatures needed, their tech will help companies replace fossil fuels with solar energy.
$DNA -- Synthetic biology (especially for industrial use) sounds incredibly difficult. But with their ever-expanding partnerships I believe Ginkgo is at the forefront of this frontier. Skeptical at first, and dismissive of their valuation, it's becoming a major holding for me over the past 2 months.
$TWST -- One of $DNA's partners, Twist is enabling companies all over the biotech landscape to continue and expand their research with their synthetic DNA products. Valuation was terribly expensive, but is now very appealing.
$JOBY -- I am so tired of sitting in traffic. Can we all get a little closer to flying around and less driving?? I believe Joby is leading the EVTOL race, and has some of the best engineers to expand their business.
$GTLB -- Pure play that makes it easier for developers to do their work securely. Since becoming public they have not disappointing. Company is performing well, stock is dropping. What's not to like for a long-term holder?!

Uh oh... most of these are deSPACs... am I doomed?
Awesome list and I love how you accompanied each with a little recap. These are very moonshot-type investments and I've been intrigued by similar ones and some heavily beaten-down biotechs but have put almost all my fresh capital into bigger, proven winners like $SHOP $CRWD $TTD... Would you build an entire portfolio out of companies like you've listed here or is this a basket that makes up a portion of your larger portfolio?
