Funny how -30% of $SNAP is a disaster while -30% of $TGT is a market opportunity.
Long $TGT - buy dividends, buy cash flow. 💪

$SNAP Management Warns They Will Miss
Is this a $SNAP problem or an industry problem?
post media
A disappointing news release as a shareholder. Ad dollars drying up. Snap has excelled in figuring out a way to better monetize its user base through its discovery shows and competitive ad landscape, but with brands pulling back their ad spend, Snap suffers. I work in digital media and see it first hand through our usage of the platform. I remain excited about their future as they continue to have significant R&D towards AR/VR and make encouraging strides there, while also maintaining a strong grip on the younger age demos relative to other social platforms...However, holding this from $20s -> sub $10 -> >$80 and now back under $20 again has been an insanely volatile journey. $SNAP has been one of my largest holdings through the ups...and now through the downs.

Portfolio changes - update 3
As you well know by now, I'm a huge proponent of transparency. And despite me sharing my portfolio publicly here which gets updated like every 1-2 days, I want to make sure I can tell you what I'm doing as close to real-time as I can. So here we go, shall we?

I put my money where my mouth is, which are my high conviction bets.

There's a few companies I'm still thinking about for various reasons, such as $ETSY $ADSK $TWLO and $PINS. I'll let you know about them when done with my thinking.

Stay strong! Have a great day!
New I/O Fund Appearances
Beth Kindig, of I/O Fund, is my favorite analyst when it comes to Ad Tech. She was exceedingly active this week discussing some of most popular companies in the space. While most I/O content is behind a paywall these appearances and breakdowns are free!

Here are some links:

Fox business appearance with commentary on $TWTR $ASAN $TSLA $SNAP :

Appearance on Motley Fool Money discussing the Ad Tech climate (expects bounce back by Q3):

If you did not know Beth's work I hope that this puts this talented researcher on your radar. What ad tech analysts do you follow?
Snap - $SNAP and Tinuiti announce strategic partnership for 2022
  • Tinuiti, the largest independent performance marketing firm across Streaming TV and the Triopoly of Google, Meta, Amazon, today announced an agreement with $SNAP to become a strategic partner in the company's growing work with independent agencies.
  • Tinuiti will gain early and increased access to Snap Inc. tools, teams, and resources for clients including: early access and testing of new products, exclusive trading agreements, incentives and pricing reductions on new products and account activations, education and training opportunities for Tinuti's integrated teams, and more.
  • Another huge win is the API integration between Mobius – Tinuiti's proprietary suite of marketing intelligence and media activation technology – and Snap. The integration means all reporting will be populated in the Tinuiti tech platform to provide enhanced optimization opportunities and better results.

$SNAP earnings today, I hope they will kill it!
$SNAP is a new position for me and I want them to kill it.

I don't know if they are going to be affected by $NFLX saga, mostly not I think.
10 years- $SNAP will be higher. Today’s earnings? Prepped for market disapproving…I have a pretty large % position and am holding through but market going to be especially hyper focused on growth numbers and DAUs- something it overemphasizes in each of their earnings calls, rather than its position in the digital ad space and vision ahead in AR/VR tech
