3 of my smaller holdings reported recently. Some quick thoughts

  • $SOFI Happy with their results. I will add to to lower my cost basis
  • $GDRX Meh.. concerned with concentration surprises. Have to think it through, maybe the money is better off somewhere else...
  • $LMND Happy with their results. I will add to it to lower my cost basis

GoodRx Take Rate
The $GDRX take rate now sits at 16% as of yesterday.

That’s vs. 15-16% last time we were updated.

& closer to 13% when it IPOed.

Its competition like Singlecare has seen its take rate shrink in the same time period to try and maintain share.

That is direct evidence of superior value creation & the power of GoodRx’s massive PBM network & scale.
Hey @stockmarketnerd, I'm just looking for where you saw this about take rate as of yesterday? Did GoodRx release some new updated information yesterday? Looks like they're not expected to report earnings til early March.

Mostly done with my upcoming deep-dive on $GDRX - a US healthcare discount service (but so much more).

What do people think about investing in healthcare/digital-health? And has anyone had personal experience with $GDRX?

Personally, I see healthcare as a sector begging for disruption - with glaring problems needing to be solved (i.e. drug affordability). And we're beginning to see companies coming to the table with real solutions.
Only heard about it via reading @tsoh_investing and Richard Chu’s work, but seems interesting.

Hard to fathom in the UK. How do you view the duration? Is this a bet on US healthcare always sucking?

Healthcare/Medtech Stocks I am Excited About
The healthcare industry is one that is clearly outdated, and from insurance to technology, it is in massive need of disruption. Some companies I am excited about:

$TDOC - telehealth and chronic condition monitoring services

$NNOX - advanced, cheaper, more effective x-ray machines

$LGVW - portable, handheld ultrasound device

$TMDX - machines with the capability to transport live organs

$CLOV - innovative, AI-backed insurance offering for seniors

$ARKG - Ark ETF covering gene-editing, CRISPR, and other themes

Two that I have been watching, but do not own shares of:

What are your thoughts on these companies, and what companies am I missing? I plan to post a longer thread either here or on Twitter sometime soon about why I believe these companies in particular are so disruptive.
Great plays, all with tremendous market position as well. I would play $CRSP outright as I want more exposure than just through $ARKG. $PACB poised for upside as well imo. Thanks for posting!
