Taco Tuesday - 5/10/22
9 stock positions increased/added.

Additional investments into my Stash Portfolio (6)

$ATVI - $94.22 consensus price target. My wife is holding this in her portfolio, new position for me with $MSFT buyout in the works an arbitrage play.

$CROX - $110.22 consensus price target. DCA down from previous buys. Not a 'core' position so will flip for a profit when the market recovers.

$DOUG - $10.00 consensus price target. DCA down from previous buys. Not a 'core' position so will flip for a profit when the market recovers.

$EBAY - $60.41 consensus price target. DCA down from previous buys. Increasing a 'core' position.

$MTCH - $125.00 consensus price target. DCA down from previous buys. Not a 'core' position so will flip for a profit when the market recovers.

$NKE - $164.91 consensus price target. DCA down from previous buys. Increasing a 'core' position.

Additional investments into my M1 Finance "Fat Cat Investing" portfolio (3)

Just saw Crocs did a collaboration w/ SZA and they sold out same day. Lots of fans didn’t win the raffle and are losing their minds. $70 for the clog and $40 for the flip flops. No idea who SZA is but feel like Crocs is so good at these collaborations

SZA is a famous singer. Some of her songs are commonly used in Tik Tok. One of her notable songs is "All the Stars", which she sang with Kendrick Lamar.

6 New Stocks for my Portfolio on Monday
I plan to start a position in each of the following stocks on Monday: $EXPI, $MED, $INMD, $LOVE, $PGNY, and $XPEL.

I know very little of them so far, but they fascinate me. So, therefore, I will make each a tiny (1/1,000th) position in my holdings to be able to track them and get some skin in the game.

I have been reading 100 Baggers by Christopher Mayer and wanted to apply a few things I am learning from it to real-life -- just on a small scale for now.

Found these with a finviz screener using the following:
  • Market cap under $10B
  • Price over $3
  • 5-year sales growth over 25%
  • QoQ sales growth over 25%
  • Return on Equity over 25%

These purchases will act mainly as a watchlist, but I will add funds and revisit them for more research if any of these double.

What fascinates me about each:
  • eXp offers optionality within the metaverse
  • Medifast has obesity issues providing a tailwind here in the US
  • InMode owns a 46% profit margin
  • Lovesac: the $CROX of furniture?
  • Progyny's fertility-focused offerings seem very niche but invaluable to those who need it
  • XPEL is up 410x in the last decade 🤯

The 3-year sales growth rates (CAGR) on these stocks range from 33% to 96%, while their Return on Equities run from 31% to 91%.

What do you all think of this strategy?
I own shares of $PGNY. Revenue is has decelerated but from absurd levels. Still grew 45% last year. Margins need to improve but already net income and free cash flow positive. Their KPIs are rock solid.

Recent Buys: CROX & AMZN
Added $CROX at ~$65 and $AMZN at ~$2800 today. Discounts are starting to get interesting 👀
Amazon currently 11.2% of my portfolio while Crocs is at 3.3%
$CROX has industry leading FCF Margins
Crocs beats out fashion giants like $LULU and $NKE.
The company's FCF margins come way out on top when you only compare it to shoe companies like $SHOO $WWW $SKX $BIRD $DECK
Should note that FCF margins may drop over the next twelve months due to supply chain challenges, like increased shipping costs and cost of raw materials.

3 Value Stocks to Buy and Hold
I tried identifying some "value" stocks -- which is solidly outside of my regular investing lane.

tl;dr for each:

  • $FDX could finally start seeing improving margins from its TNT acquisition
  • $CROX and its ROIC of 98% is bananas
  • $NVR is an absolute share cannibal thanks to its asset-light model
Which value stock would you consider?
41%FedEx
41%Crocs
16%NVR
