Looking at Canada overall, Kumova said he finds the valuation of some Canadian battery metal plays "confusing" believing that some companies would trade at significantly higher multiples when viewed by Australian investors. Canada's Noront Resources found itself in a bidding war last year when Wyloo Metals and BHP Billiton, both with Australian roots, vied for ownership.
