JD Sports announced the appointment of Régis Schultz as the new CEO joining from Al-Futtaim Group where he held the position of President of Retail since 2019.

I recently read that Schultz is known for digital transformation.

Going by his previous history at Monoprix, BUT, and B&Q it appears he has a strong track record for effecting transformational change through digitisation.

Will be interesting to see how this strategy will play out for JD Sports.
