Until I watched this video, I had no idea that most hotel chains today are operating on an asset-light business model, much like what
$ABNB utilizes.
I personally can't see hotels ever going extinct because they have a much different offering than what companies like Airbnb & VRBO are offering.
As a commenter on the video said, "airbnb isn't messing with the hotel industry, they are messing with the housing prices."
