Ignore the Fed Meeting
Many market participants are hooked on this Fed meeting today and whether they will decide to raise interest rates by an amount priced into the market or not priced into the market

Ignore all this noise. If you own stocks where 100 bps interest rate hikes kill your thesis, you probably shouldn't own the companies in the first place

I get that all fundamental theses have a little macro embedded in them, but I don't get bottom-up investors who fret about macroeconomic policy...

Agree. Althought I find CPI to be important even for long-term investors. Not if it's better or worse for 0.1%, but that the trend is actually going down and that the FED's actions have results.
