I’m really curious to see if $SHOP or $MSFT will try to throw in a meaningful bid for $PINS.
I think this story is just getting started.
Any other companies that make sense as potential acquirers?
Any chance Etsy and Pinterest would ever consider merging? I know in an 'acquisition' one large company is supposed to buy a smaller company... how often do two companies look at each other and consider merging?
Pinterest is now 8x P/S. Regardless of bidding wars and and the stock continuing to slide, at what point do you just buy the dip?
Analysts still expect Pinterest to grow over 30% in 2022. And they continue to expand ARPU.
If $PINS was valued like $SNAP, it would trade for ~$100. It's $44 right now.
Buy and hold time?
