It's been a long time since my portfolio out performed the S&P 500
Enjoying it while it lasts. Probably a bull trap. Still enjoying the respite.
The more humbling (and zoomed out) view of the last year:

Gotta take them when you can get them! Start of a new financial year here in Australia and feels to be up on that year 😂

@nathanworden You have more growth stocks, they'll sky rocket when they do, mine will be more gradual
@investor_from_nepal or they’ll continue to compress as interest rates rise— it’s pretty amazing how correlated growth stocks all are in the current environment 🙃
Being heavily invested in $QYLD, I'm thankful that my portfolio is down nearly 9% YTD compared to the S&P 500, which is down 18% YTD.
@dissectmarkets I gotta say, you've mitigated losses a lot better than I have YTD. Happy for you 🙂
Small wins..just have to make sure the small wins outweigh the losses over the long run! 🙌🏽

My daughter is actually beating me; time to teach her humility. She thinks it’s hilarious she’s outperforming me and the S & P since we started tracking portfolios. She underperformed by 3% in June but the portfolios have held up well. It’s a custodial portfolio I handed her recently. She’s just made the 2 additions this past month that are diversifying her portfolio from mine. ($AAPL & $SBUX, her two favorite brands).
And mine for comparison, wish I’d found these tools sooner.
Similar situation here, it has been a struggle so far this year. I have used the opportunity to dollar cost average down some big tech losses. Did enjoy the 10% bump to $LAC the day after buying some more and is still my largest position.
