Overall this month I did more sell call than sell puts as DOW and QQQ starts to drop. Sell puts are only for stocks that are already in my portfolio where I can add units at lower price. If I don't have existing units I would choose a lower strike price to account for the possible market prices dropping.
- The most annoying one is $PLTR I had sell call at 18.5 then an analyst labelled it to be the "Messi of AI" and sent the prices shooting high. I was just a day or 2 to the option expiring worthless, so I decided to roll my sell call to a further date. Price of PLTR came down, let's hope it stay this way till it expires this round.
- I closed my long $AI units (i need the cash) and change to sell put with $25 strike, the premium is not too shabby at $97 a contract.
- Added some new companies to my options play, $OTLY and $GENI to balance out my portfolio and the options expiry are much longer I'm trying to get some 3 mths options also to add some food related company to my portfolio. I'm not sure oatly will have a spot in my portfolio in the long run, still observing but for now I am likely to work between $1 - $2/$2.5 range. Genius Sports is because they are data related and they have renewal and exclusive, official data partnership with the NFL. Renewal to premier league as well. I have not clue about football but I understand it's big in US, so I place my bet on $GENI while you guys place bets on your teams. ;)
