I have taken a starter position in [$NU](https://twitter.com/search?q=%24NU&src=cashtag_click) at $4.71 after being on the watchlist and doing research for awhile now.

Rationale:

- Q2'22 earnings was very impressive and imo proved to me that they have a strong mgmt team, great sustained growth, and a massive target market in LatAm.

- They are proving they they can expand past Brazil and gain significant market share quickly. Also, very high NPS's which shows brand strength.

Looking forward to further researching this company, adding to it, and watching them grow. I think [$NU](https://twitter.com/search?q=%24NU&src=cashtag_click) will be a great complement to my [$MELI](https://twitter.com/search?q=%24MELI&src=cashtag_click) position.

Is there any risk if Brazil goes into total anarchy with the October 2022 election coming up? is that overhyped? I've heard the president stated he already wasn't going to accept the results.

Also, does this impact $MELI?  Usually, politics don't impact stocks as much as people think they do, but still something I am worried about.
