GTA V $TTWO was released in 2013, yet it is still making ~1bn in revenue per year. GTA VI is currently being developed. Is this a smart move to add the next iteration in their wildly successful franchise or are they cannibalizing their cash cow?

Will repeat my comments from Twitter, but I assume they get a nice 1-2Y bump from sales if they kick out a 6th version, followed by the potential for a decade worth of GTA simp revenue for online.

Guess they have the luxury of taking their time to build something cool. More time passes, more expectations build.
