Last week, I posted about market fatigue, and after having some great discussions here about how to cope with it, I started thinking about what could be causing it. Obviously, stocks going sideways or down plays a part, but I've also got a 10 month old ball of energy running around here every night (his favorite activity is climbing the stairs..), and we've been passing around a cold through our house all summer, so I think a bit of life/work/parent fatigue has bled into my disinterest in the markets lately, although stepping back from watching the daily ups and downs is actually probably a net positive in the long run.

Anyone else chasing a newborn or toddler around the house? Have you noticed the same things I have, that you have less time and/or interest in active investing now that your attention is needed elsewhere? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE being a dad, and spending time with my son after he gets home from daycare is the highlight of my day, I've just noticed that it's (correctly) adjusted my priorities away from my portfolio, and I was wondering if I was the only one haha
