Is there any metric that allows for comparisons between the two whilst removing the variable of size? For instance, Booking may have more rooms booked but I am unaware of how many total rooms they have (capacity) vs Airbnb.
Wish I exercised better patience scaling into $ABNB given how well it performed immediately in the secondary upon IPO’ing. Love the company but not going to add any more as I have prioritized scaling into a number of names once I resume deploying capital. I think Chesky one of the more under-appreciated CEOs in the new age tech space
@jensen out of curiosity. What happened to your portfolio on 14th to 17th of May? You had a significant spike in returns followed by an immediate drop.
@stockopine Unsure exactly but believe it may have been some ETH from flipping some NFTs, moving it to Coinbase, and then moving it offline to a hardware wallet. The spike is abnormal though and not reflective of equity holdings. I ignore that tbh and use my own spreadsheets for tracking and performance
As for more preferred names I plan to build/add to higher on my watch list- $SBUX $AMZN $SCHD $WM $NKE are my top 5 I want to build into bigger core positions
Waiting for $PENN to get acquired or rally a bit before unloading rest of my shares, my cost basis is below $0 there from an acquisition and big winner so I’ve been riding the house and dealing with that weight but want to better allocate soon if it continues to disappoint.
