The metaverse? We're not in late 2021 anymore...

@ccm_brett I think they should have used the term 'AI' instead 🙂

They have definitely enlarged their monetization universe with theme parks, movies, and expanded range of toys in the last decade. Amazing growth - and marketing - story

@consumeowntech Agree. It's a pity that they are still privately owned company, in a way.

Amazing biz, and along with Chick fil A one of the private companies I would love have an opportunity to own one day.

@ifb_podcast Both good businesses. I would include IKEA in that bucket, as well.

@kostofff I have spent so much money on Legos for my daughter 😂😂

@ifb_podcast I would say that it was a good investment. The LEGO building blocks and construction process develop so many skills - problem solving, spatial skills, intelligent and constuctive thinking and on top of that it brings joy to everyone involved in the process - from kids to parents and grandparents.

@kostofff absolutely, great points! I think I enjoyed putting them together as much or more than she did! 😂😂

Popped into their Leicester Square store this weekend. Was slightly in awe watching the checkout queue and purchase prices...
Todor Kostov's avatar
@asthecrowbuys That's their largest store worldwide and probably the busiest.

This is one of those companies I would have invested in as a kid... if it had only been public. If it ever plans to IPO... I would probably invest. This company is amazing.
Todor Kostov's avatar
@nathanworden North of 100% agree here 🙂

This company. A big shame for public investors not being a public one. The returns would have been great.

@rihardjarc Indeed.

I hope that Avatar LEGOs can provide LEGO with their next leg of growth. Seeing Avatar LEGOs becoming a major hit would mean that the Avatar franchise is a lot more valuable and more ingrained in our culture. I'm a big Avatar fan btw.

@dissectmarkets Anything can be on the cards for LEGO.
