I bought a social media company šŸ˜Ž

I am committed to investing in over 50 startups in Nepal and around the world. Till date, I have invested in 4 companies and 3 more will be disclosed soon. I generally invest in an early-stage company with validated ideas. My cheque size ranges from $500 to $25k

My recent investment is Khal. Khal.com is a US-based social media for foodies that was born during the COVID crisis. It has over 250k users and 100k recipes. I am happy to be a part of Khal as an investor.

Where do you typical source these opportunities?

@investmenttalk So, generally it's from LinkedIn - I use a lot of different products via sites like Product Hunt and if I like them, I reachout to the team via email or linkedin.

Yes this was my question too :) How to do learn of such investing opportunities? In the UK we have crowdcube but I am not familiar with the equivalent in Nepal and India

@joeyhirendernath Mostly LinkedIn. I use my US based company for the investment so it gets easier. Nepal and India it would be really difficult.
