Investor Relations
Do any of you ever reach out to investor relations when researching a stock? And if so, do they ever get back to you with good responses, or even get back to you at all?

I’ve interacted with Fiserv a bunch tbh. Never have tried the other companies I own or interested in though. I think it’s cool to interact with investor relations if they answer you. I do t try to do it when I have a question or want more information or pointed in the right direction. Definitely a great source. Some investor relations for the bigger names probably won’t help you but luckily don’t own those or care to own them

@christian7621 I just had a good interaction with an $APOG investor relations employee. It went really well and got me curious about others experiences. I figured as much with larger companies

@dividenddollars Best feeling ever when a company actually cares for their investors. What's APOG? Never heard of them. Questions also, didn't't you own CVS at one point too or am I missing something? I am looking at your portfolio now unless it's not up to date like mine lol

@christian7621 $APOG is a structural glass company. They make the glass and framing systems you see in glass buildings and storefronts. Pretty cool company. I did own $CVS at one point, but I dropped them a while back

@dividenddollars Very interesting. I am going to have to look into them. Glancing at the numbers it looks pretty very good. Can I ask why you dropped them? Any specific reasons. I have seen alot of people bearish on cvs lately and I am truly trying to figure out why. It's a name I've studied for years now and have the utmost faith in

@christian7621 I have to correct myself here, I never owned $CVS, but I did own $WBA. I got out of them at BE almost after only holding for a couple months. The reason I got out was due to the instability of the Boots sale and I was also looking to cut down my number of the positions anyways. That was one I wasn’t really married to.

@joeyhirendernath that is the perfect post for an example of an IR interaction. Exactly what I was looking for, thank you

It’s in relation to $SHOP, lots of people commented on their own experiences too

Yeah I have and it depends on the company. Some are really friendly and helpful, others do not answer.

Yes I do, and whether they respond entirely depends on the company. $TMDX have never responded to me, for instance. I love writing to microcap and small cap companies and hearing back from the CEO himself!

Fairly often, mostly with smaller business with poorer disclosure. Sometimes they are vague, particularly around earnings season, but its a good habit to have. You get nuggets sometimes.
