Brands
Just for fun.

So I googled “the most tattooed brands” , just trying to see if I will find any strong brands I can start researching on and possibly invest in.

Nintendo placing 2nd , did surprise me.

Legit, out of the box thinking for investment ideas.
This could be better than Peter Lynch's walk around the malls for investment ideas !

Really interesting! No surprise with Disney but surprising that Vans is on the list

Wow. People will tattoo the dumbest shit on their bodies🤣

Great outside the box thinking though. Nothing says brand loyalty like, “I want that inked on me for eternity”

A couple of counter-examples: (which are probably exceptions since these are probably more one-offs rather than popular tattoos)

The infamous Luna tattoo that Mike Novogratz got before Luna went to zero.

Peloton was / is a cult-like community. Saw a lot of these tattoos pop up in 2020

@nathanworden The tattoo-investment thesis didn't work out for Peloton... but you could perhaps argue that it was just too early. If Peloton continues to see people getting tattoos of their brand... that could make for a hard-core community that makes it through the tough times.
