How sustainable is $BIG’s 8% dividend? 🤔 has anyone done any work on BIG?
I’ve passed on this one as it feels a bit “falling knife” currently.

@from100kto1m I’ve chased a few dividend before. More often than not I’ve regretted it. Fortunately, my strategies don’t have to be yours. Good luck hunting for some juicy divys!!
They have an TTM cash outflow of $132M before paying their dividend, which is costing them an additional $40-$48M per year. They have $1.4B in current assets but $1.1B in current debts. The dividend seems unhealthily high to me. I’d avoid it.
