What a time to be a SHORT seller…. Particularly on “pennystocks”. When they fall, they fall HARD!!

Legit question. We have been hit hard. Are you still short selling actively? When do you decide to close your short positions? I feel like jumping in now could be a bit late to the party or no?

@strib I haven’t shorted in a long while. But I am a better short than long. Besides, I manage a “cash account”, so there’s that too..lol. I only day trade to I can only speak to low float pennystocks. If the ticker meets your criteria, sure you can. But you cat go flying in blind just because the entire market appears to be down.. certainly not with pennystocks, it won’t be pleasant given how crazy short squeezes are over there..

@iheartstocks makes sense! I’m more of a long investor so lately I’ve been getting smashed. Holding on tight though. As long as my stocks don’t literally run out of business lol

@strib sorry about that.. I strictly day trade. Is there a plan to exit at x amount or you’re HODL’in?

@iheartstocks HODL all the way. May take a while to recover but I like the companies I invest in and sometimes the stocks simply don’t reflect the underlying company.

@strib human beings can be fickle… the fundamentals might be all good, BUT there’s just no interest in the stock. If per your selection criteria, they’re fundamentally sound, your losses shouldn’t be that bad..

@iheartstocks lol ad “in theory” to the end of that last statement lol 😂 I’ve learned some lessons so far for sure but I’m like 99% in stock so the way I see it I’ve got time on my side.

@iheartstocks and they’ll recover if that business is quality like ya said
