Good points. However, “generic” no-name Crocs have gotten really good. The moment Crocs aren’t trendy anymore, the bull case goes down the drain. I think a steep valuation discount is justified

@leo_nelissen Fair point. Good thing that they acquired HeyDude since that will help manage that risk.

I have never owned a pair of Crocs and have always found it really surprising that they were so popular.

However as someone who followed the stock I was impressed that Crocs was able to weather the COVID-19 pandemic better than many other companies due to its strong e-commerce presence and its focus on comfortable and casual footwear, which has been in high demand as more people work from home.

In terms of brand partnerships do you know if there are any notable ones in the horizon ?

Thanks for sharing. $CROX has always been on our radar.
It looks interesting but what about the valuation?

seems like a buy here would be chasing the trend as opposed to capitalizing on momentum

aside from the valuation we are truly living in the idiocracy universe:

"futuristic yet too stupid looking to ever become popular in real life"

What an odd expression—"planned newness." Anyway, I applaud $CROX's strong performance to date and I envy shareholders. This is a stock I looked at and passed on. That was a mistake on my part, but it's tough for me to wrap my head around anticipated sales growth for something like footwear. This being fashion, trend/taste/style are so fickle! These days, with social media and everybody being an influencer and trendsetter, these things change more rapidly than at any point in history.
