📈 How will you know when the current bear market has ended?
All bull markets eventually come to an end.
The time to develop an action plan for corrections, bear markets, and other inevitable temporary setbacks such as the one we are in and the 2007-2009 Great Recession is before they begin.

Following the rules of a backtested investing algorithm should help enable an investor to be dispassionate, systematic, and evidence-driven.
Developing appropriate expectations and trust in an algorithm help enable an investor to take the necessary actions at the necessary times.
Charts such as those on the History and Perspective page show that the long-term direction of the stock market is up in spite of corrections, bear markets, recessions, and other transitory events. That long-term trend can be reassuring and help establish appropriate expectations and confidence.
History doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes (Mark Twain).
