@astronut I’d have to say I was wrong about Fastly. I was deciding between $FSLY and $NET and clearly chose the wrong one. I have yet to sell but that’s mostly because at this point sentiment has gone a bit too far in the opposite direction, (but not by much). I tend to air on the side of holding too long, but Fastly is currently on the chopping block for me.
There were once a lot of reasons to like $FSLY—for me, mainly having to do with its innovative product—but the combination of business and managerial concerns there have dulled my outlook. I'm not a fan of the slowing growth we've seen recently but will say the results and outlook the company reported today are encouraging: revenue up 23% YoY to $87M, guidance for full-year revenue $350M at the upper limit, and $1B in revenue by 2025. A hold for me—not selling shares and not adding.
What do you think, @astronut? What led you to buy last year?
