$COST Overvalued?
Is $COST overvalued? history says so.

Will $COST be around in 20 years? Most likely.

F*ck Valuation, go long durability.

$COST is a consumer stable stock that I have been eyeing for a while now, but valuation is pretty lofty, especially in a market that is favoring older economy companies. No question about the efficacies of its business model, and I do get a kick out of shopping there! Perpetually crowded with loyal customers.

Will continue to wait for an opportunity

@consumeowntech I can vouch for perpetually crowded. It can be pretty frustrating to shop there. It feels like it should be a good investment, but at a $200B market cap, I don't think I'd want to buy shares at all-time-high multiples. Revenue increased by 17.5% in 2021 and 15.8% in 2022. Average top line growth over the last 15 years is 8.8%. That probably explains some of the valuation.
