PayPal bulls is there any word when Venmo will be added to Amazon checkout. Unless I missed it in the reports they haven’t said anything about this in a while. Seems like a very important step for venmo, not talked about enough
I agree. Very important and not talk about enough. Only 1 mention in the last earnings call. Last roll out estimate was second half 2022

I couldn't find the Venmo pay function whenever I use Amazon. Did the deal fall apart?

@dissectmarkets me personally, no. Bc I don’t keep a balance on Venmo. I do use PYPL check out frequently everywhere else. But hopefully enough of the 110+ mil Amazon prime members will use Venmo checkout to make an impact to PYPL revenue. When you are the premier payment check out option online and you don’t have a presence on the biggest e-commerce player, I saw that as a bear case. But now that that is changing, hopefully soon, I saw that as a big enough future revenue driver to invest
@dissectmarkets I’m not an Amazon fan but I know it would definitely lead to more revenue for PayPal because more people would use venmo for the self checkout. I believe this is gonna be a huge revenue boost for PayPal
