Cloudflare $NET lowering FY 23 guidance by 4% was a surprise, esp after reaffirming this in February
Most importantly, how does this impact the assertion of having a $5 billion dollar run rate by the end of 2027?
For me, this is the real reason the stock was down over 25% AH
They got way ahead of themselves. Lost a bit of credibility for me. Still think their long-term story is intact. Tempted add here at 45.
@darthtrader reaffirming guidance and then rowing back on it so soon is not a good look. Agree that the long-term story is still intact, the ride just might be a bit bumpier
i am very disappointed, but havent taken any action, still think long term thesis is intact, but will be cautious going forward
@growthinvesting don’t think one quarter impacts the long term thesis but it would certainly have you on higher alert esp if retention rates continue to fall
