Anyone know what % of Google's revenue comes from iOS ecosystem?
Any ideas or links appreciated.

I would think any revenue that Google makes from iOS is nothing compared to the $20 billion $GOOG pays $AAPL to be the default search engine.

@dollarsandsense can’t wait until that ends. Either bc google stops it or bc regulators outlaw it. That’ll really get the EPS moving

@rpinvestments Don’t know if I’d like Apple creating their own search…

@dollarsandsense My guess is it is a surprisingly high figure, and that the higher it goes the more tempted Apple will be to launch their own search engine. They need to have a very robust ad business in place first, but doing away with search and offering users a privacy-first engine seems like something they must have their eyes on long term.

@moneyshark I wouldn't. My fear is that the larger Google grows the more attractive it becomes for Apple to launch their own engine.

@rpinvestments I could see this being an outcome, but I could also see a lot of people just being willing to use a worse search engine because it's "privacy first". I don't have much confidence one way or the other. What I do know is that the status quo results in Google being an absurdly profitable cash generative business, and I'd rather this risk didn't exist.

@01core_ben exactly - but I’m a Google bull and don’t own Apple

@moneyshark another tech giant has a search engine and it didn’t affect google.
