When you look at your stocks as businesses and not as just $ signs, and you start thinking of what management and workers have to go through on daily basis, it becomes a lot easier to “hold on” to those companies during both good and bad times.

Considering the employees and management adds some perspective that makes it easier to appreciate that we are investors in dynamic, living, breathing companies--rather than insignificant, impersonal dots on charts. No, none of them would notice if we sold but for me it makes it easier to hold on when I need to. :)
