Via Varejo, one of $MELI competitors in Brazil, posted terrible earnings. GMV grew 3%yoy, sales down 2%yoy. According to my estimate, VIIA burned ~3bn LTM ⚠️

This is where $MELI will steal market share in 2022.

Hey Giro, I am not well versed in LatAm ecommerce, what is Amazon's presence in the region like, and why do they seem to struggle there?
